You also understand that the executive officers of NJ Sharpshooters have the right to screen your application and follow up with you for potential conflicts of interest or signs of any defect that may be a potential liability to the health and well-being of the membership.(Required)

If approved for membership, you have the following rights and privileges: 1) Participate in all NJ Sharpshooter Range Days that your finances permit, as long as the venue where the activity or event is taking place does not restrict you from doing so. 2) Participate and engage in all group chats, social media, and communicate with our NJ Sharpshooters network to get information on all your firearm needs. 3) You can choose to withdraw your image and likeness from NJ Sharpshooters social media or any of its publications based on your application preferences or in the future at any time. 4) You also have the right to terminate your membership at any time. However, any and all membership fees that have been paid in advance are non-refundable. 5) Tier 2 members have all the rights and privileges just mentioned. Tier 1 members have all of the same rights and privileges as Tier 2 members, with the additional privilege of being able to attend group tactical courses, many of which will be at discounted group rates, and either done internally or with affiliated partners/sponsors.(Required)

If approved for membership, you obligate yourself to abide by the following basic set of rules: 1) Any act you commit at any NJ Sharpshooters event that may be deemed offensive, discriminatory, unsafe, or reckless, especially when done with intent, can disqualify you from membership. 2) Any action or speech done in the public eye while representing NJ Sharpshooters that reflects poorly on our reputation with the general public is grounds for dismissal. 3) NJ Sharpshooters is a non-partisan organization, and by joining this club, you shall not promote partisan politics at club functions or over club communication channels. The only politics we engage in involves being well-informed of existing firearm legislation and to encourage you, as a member, to participate in the legislative process at your own discretion to address firearm legislation that may affect your rights and legal firearm ownership.(Required)

WHEREAS, in return for use of premises and equipment, instruction in firearms, & for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the Undersigned agrees to the following:

NJ SHARPSHOOTERS INC. WAIVER, RELEASE, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, in return for use of premises and equipment, instruction in firearms, & for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the Undersigned agrees to the following:

To indemnify, hold harmless and defend NJ Sharpshooters Inc. and any of its employees, directors, officers or agents from any and all fault, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, demands or lawsuits arising out of, related to or connected with the instruction in or discharge of firearms; the Undersigned’s participation in discharging firearms; observing the discharging of firearms, the range, buildings, land and premises used (the “Premises”); the Undersigned’s presence on or use of Premises; and any and all acts or omissions of the Undersigned. Should any such claim, demand or lawsuit arise or be asserted in any way related thereto, whether arising under the laws of the United States, the State of New Jersey or any other State, or under any theory of law or equity, the Undersigned will indemnify, hold harmless and defend NJ Sharpshooters Inc., from any and all costs, expenses or liability including, but not limited to, the cost of any settlement or judgment made or rendered against NJ Sharpshooters Inc., whether individually, jointly, or in concert with the Undersigned, together with all costs of court and other costs or expenses incurred in connection with any such claim, demand or lawsuit, including attorney’s fees.(Required)

The Undersigned waives any and all rights and claims for damages, losses, demands and any other actions, which exist or which may arise against NJ Sharpshooters Inc., (including, but not limited to any and all injuries, damages or illnesses suffered by the Undersigned or the Undersigned’s property), which may, in any way whatsoever, arise out of, be related to or be connected with: discharging firearms, the Premises, including any latent defect in the Premises; the Undersigned’s presence on or use of Premises; the Undersigned’s property (whether or not entrusted to NJ Sharpshooters Inc.); NJ Sharpshooters Inc., shall not be liable for, and the Undersigned, hereby expressly releases NJ Sharpshooters Inc. from any and all such claims. This waiver is both personal and on behalf of any minor for whom it is executed.(Required)

The Undersigned hereby expressly assumes the risk of entering the Premises and taking part in activities on the Premises which include, but are not limited to the discharge of firearms and the firing of live ammunition; or observing individuals discharging firearms; & the use of the facilities. The Undersigned furthermore hereby acknowledges and agrees that he/she has read, understands and will at all times abide by all NJ Sharpshooters Inc. rules, instructions, procedures, safety rules, and any and all Range Officer instructions, whether communicated in writing, posted on the premises & communicated verbally. This instrument binds the Undersigned and his/her executors, administrators, assignees or heirs and any minor for whom it is signed. If obviously under the age of 21, my age is listed. If a minor, under the age of 18 years, I understand a parent or legal guardian’s signature is required.(Required)
